Wandering down Summer Street, you are surprised to find an interesting retail mix in Eclectic, which is locally owned by Karen Sampson. Karen stocks new and second hand furniture, home décor, women’s and children’s clothing, and accessories. She spends her spare time sourcing from local suppliers as well as from surrounding areas. Karen has been involved in retail for many years, first helping out her family in their local store in Anson Street, before deciding to open Eclectic. With a combination of retro, vintage, modern, industrial, unusual, unique and one of a kind pieces to choose from this is a must visit store in Orange. The piece that caught my eye was the vintage Bruno Parker lounge suite, still with the original timberwork and upholstered cushions.
Featured is a Fossil corner, for young and old alike with a stegosaurus head, dinosaur skull and some lizard fossil wall art. So for that something special for your ‘someone special’ this Christmas make sure you pay Eclectic a visit. This weekend Karen will be featured at the Millthorpe Markets, amongst a variety of other stallholders.
