Dear friends of Canowindra and surrounding districts

23 August, 2023 By Rev Jono Williams

Dear friends of Canowindra and surrounding districts,

It is a pleasure to return to Canowindra to serve as your minister in the Anglican and Uniting Church. Canowindra is a Wiradjuri word meaning ‘home’ and I certainly feel like I’ve come home. Thank you all for the way that you have welcomed me back into your community.

As you know, I have hit the ground running – sharing God’s love – since I have returned; conducting Easter and Sunday services, funerals, a wedding and several other activities and pastoral care.

The ministry of Canowindra Anglican and Uniting Churches is made possible through your generous donations to our church. Activities such as, Canconex, Foodbasket, school scripture(SRE), girl’s group, friendship group, church services, pastoral counselling, funerals, baptisms (christenings), and weddings are available to the community because of your generosity.

Since I have returned, I have been asked if the church can provide other services to the community. This can only happen with your support. If you would like to donate or volunteer to the ministry of the Anglican and Uniting Churches in Canowindra and surrounding districts, please drop of your donation at your local Anglican or Uniting Church or you can do so electronically by contacting me at revjono@bigpond.com and I will provide the details on how you can further assist.

Your support is greatly appreciated.

Blessings, Rev Jono Williams
