The CWA of NSW Central Western Group held their annual Public Speaking competition for the 32nd year at James Sheahan Catholic High School on Tuesday 21st May 2019.
This year 270 Year 3 to Year 12 students from 74 schools across Central West NSW participated.
A huge congratulations must go to Nina Cuddy from Year 5 at Canowindra Public School who achieved first place for her speech on fire. Nina will now have the opportunity to compete in the Interschool Competition to be held in Narromine in late June.
With the help of approximately 70 volunteers, this competition gives students the opportunity to write and deliver a timed speech on a subject appropriate for the age of the student.
Good luck Nina!
