Dear Editor,
A few Wednesday nights ago thieves broke into my shed and stole equipment mounting up to a loss of $20,000. We had hardly any security as out in the country one feels pretty safe and I don’t think we should have to guard against criminals.
Police have been following up the crime however the perpetrators used gloves so no fingerprints were found. This has taken our feeling of trust away that we value in such a small community. We are now setting up surveillance equipment around the property so this sort of thing doesn’t happen again, it’s a shame.
Whoever did this, I hope karma bites them right up the bum. I’m sure they will get their just desserts.
Yours sincerely,
Ric White
