Cricket Seasons Back!

On sat the 18 Canowindra A grade played the young Coyotes . Coyotes won the toss and choice to bat first. Nick Traves took a early wicket in the first over of the game putting Canowindra on the front foot and from there the wickets kept coming for not many runs with Canowindra bowling out the young side for 83 with all bowlers chipping in. Nick Traves 1/22 off 5 overs , Brendan Traves 2/14 off 4 overs , Gurpet Singh 2/28 off 7.2 overs Pete Guthrie 2/3 off 4 overs and young Harry Jeffrey in only his 2nd A grade game getting his first A grade wicket 1/9 off 3 overs, Canowindra came out to bat strong with Pete Guthrie and Ben Schaefer getting us off to the best start with Ben scoring 42 runs quick before being dismissed. G Singh fell not long after for 2 and Matt Harrison again not long after but Shaun Craven came out to hold out his wicket to help Pete finish the game off. Pete end up 39 not out with Canowindra chasing the 83 runs in just 17 overs . Next week Canowindra play valley at Holman oval Cowra at 12:30
