Season start date is 22 October which is later than usual due to ongoing wet weather. There are 2 draws one for the main 40 over season and another for the Twenty20.
Currently both Molong grounds are to a certain extent, under water and as you would expect unplayable. If the wet weather continues the executive will amend the draw and you will be advised. Currently we have scheduled the normal 3 rounds in, but it may revert to two pending weather. We are in regular dialogue with both Cabonne and Blayney councils regarding ground conditions.
From this season NSW Cricket is now using a new software system PlayHQ. All players MUST be registered to play cricket. The cost to each player is $22.50. See your team Administrator for further details.
The Assoc. will provide white balls for the Twenty20 competition. All matches will be played under the new lights at Molong. The T20 format is combined teams as outlined in the draw and the captains of the combined teams will need to select a team together from available players.
The new pitch at Hunter Caldwell has been repaired. Molong will again have a representative side in the Rod Hartus Trophy.
