Canowindra High School (CHS) is very proud to be part of the Canowindra community and to share in the provision of public education for the children and young adults of the town and district.
As a small school CHS pride themselves on the ability to provide not only a diverse and interesting curriculum but also extensive sporting, cultural and social avenues for students to involve themselves. This year’s theme for Education Week “Creating futures – education changes lives” is particularly apt for CHS as they have a long history whereby students successfully find their way in life irrespective of the career pathway they choose.
All students, both past and present, are always presented with a myriad of opportunities and experiences and it is through these that every student, every day can develop the skills they need in the world beyond the school gate. Canowindra High School is a public high school and are honoured to represent the community in this role.
At Gooloogong Public School (GPS) they strive to empower all students to acquire, demonstrate, articulate and value knowledge and skills that will support them as life-long learners.
The aim is for students to participate in and contribute to the global world, whilst practising the core values of the school: respectful, responsible and resilient. GPS hold high expectations of all students through differentiated instruction, individualised feedback and the provision of meaningful classroom experiences in close partnership with parents.
