On Saturday 25th May, Canowindra Branch of the CWA of NSW celebrated their 100th birthday at the Canowindra Bowling Club. Members, past members and the community came together, with music, good food, interesting guest speakers, and of course, a raffle. A common theme of the day was that the CWA is as relevant today as it was in 1924. Maternal and children’s health, dealing with isolation and the continuing development of skills, continue to be issues that the branch champion to this day. Congratulations to everyone involved.
