Congratulations to Cathy Smith, Johnny Lawrence and the Canowindra CWA (represented by Fiona Ferguson), who last
week received 2024 Community Recognition Awards from Member for Orange Philip Donato MP.
Last week, Member for Orange Philip Donato MP hosted the 3rd Annual Orange electorate 2024 Community Recognition Awards event at the Australian National Field Days Function Centre.
Mr Donato personally presented awards, acknowledging individuals and organisations who have contributed to their community or who’ve achieved remarkable personal or professional accomplishments.
“I believe it’s important to recognise people and organisations from our local communities and celebrate their efforts and accomplishments,” Mr Donato said.
Congratulations to our local Canowindra award recipients Cathy Smith and John Lawrence who were recognised for their work in our community. The Canowindra CWA was also recognised for the Co Working space “Nurture”, the award accepted by Fiona Ferguson.
Mr Donato personally presented a certificate to each award recipient, upon which is endorsed the speech he delivered in the NSW Parliament over the past, to officially recognise them.
“This is the third annual awards event I’ve now hosted to acknowledge individuals and organisations who’ve contributed to our community, or who’ve achieved remarkable personal or professional accomplishments. It is gratifying to witness the smiles on humble people’s faces as they’re being applauded by community members.
“Recognising people from our community and celebrating their work, effort and accomplishments is one of the most rewarding aspects of my work as an MP.
