Around 200 colour hungry ninja’s took part in the first ever Canowindra Colour Ninja Run last Saturday. The Canowindra Showground was a buzz with groovy tunes by DJ Ratta with some interesting Ninja costumes on display.
Hosted by St Edward’s Primary School Canowindra the day was full of fun, sun, colour and water. The School is hoping to raise enough money to purchase some new outdoor furniture for the school and playground.
Mandy Townsend, Fundraising Co-ordinator from the St Edward’s P&F said “ It was a really successful day and everyone had a great time.”
When the Year 3 and 4 class were asked on Monday what was there favourite obstacle on the course the answers came firing…
• “Getting sprayed with colour” – Holly Pull
• “The razor crawl” – Cooper Breen
• “Everything” – Chloe Townsend
• “The bubble tunnel” – Hillary Townsend
Harry Duguid won the prize for doing the most laps with a huge 8 laps completed! The children will now receive prizes for the amount of money they raised on their sponsorship forms.
