Christmas Markets Return To Canowindra’s Main Street

The festive spirit is set to sparkle once again in Canowindra, with the much-loved Canowindra Christmas Markets returning on Saturday, 29 November — and this year, once again, they’ll take over the heart of town along Gaskill Street.

Now in its third year, the event is proudly organised by the Canowindra Progress Association, bringing together locals and visitors alike for a magical evening of shopping, food, and community cheer. Gaskill Street will close to traffic at 3pm, transforming into a bustling marketplace ready to welcome visitors from 5pm to 9pm, before reopening at 10pm.

Shoppers can look forward to a wonderful range of stalls featuring handmade gifts, festive decorations, craft and delicious food — perfect for ticking off the Christmas list while supporting regional makers and small businesses of Canowindra. With twinkling lights, live entertainment, and the unmistakable charm of Canowindra’s main street, the markets promise an unforgettable start to the Christmas season.

Stallholder applications are open now via www.123tix.com.au, and local artisans, food vendors, and community groups are encouraged to secure their spot.

The Canowindra Progress Association invites everyone to come along, soak up the festive atmosphere, and celebrate the joy of Christmas. Mark your calendars — Saturday, 29 November is set to be a magical night on Gaskill Street!
