Moyne Aged Care Plus in Canowindra is gearing up for an exciting festive season.
From writing Christmas cards to family and loved ones to decking the halls with festive cheer. On Thursday 6th December, Moyne will be having a Volunteers and Residents Christmas Luncheon. The luncheon is their way of thanking the hard working volunteers for their love and support throughout the year. The Volunteer of the year will be announced at the Luncheon and thank you gifts will be presented. It is also a lovely way for everyone to commence the Christmas Season.
On Friday 14th December Moyne Christmas Carols will be held in the grounds of Moyne from 6pm. Please note the change in time and date from previous years. Numerous community groups will be involved in this year’s Carols and everyone from the community is invited to attend. An offering will be taken up for The Salvation Army Christmas Appeal. There will be a Christmas Market Stall on the Carols night with Craft items, Tomato Relish, Lamingtons and Baked Goods, all made with love by the residents and staff of Moyne. All Monies raised will be used for the Leisure needs of residents. There will also be a free sausage sizzle, drinks and fruit cake.
The Canowindra Preschool will have their last visit to Moyne for the year on the 19th December. Friendships have been made between young and old all throughout the year and we wish the little ones the best for the coming year.
Moyne will be attending the Canowindra Services Club for a “Christmas Get together Lunch” on the 20th December, which will be a fun event for all involved.
The new renovations to Moyne have finished just in time for Christmas, so everyone will be able to enjoy the hard work that has been put in over the last 6 months.
