Everyone is invited to attend the Moyne Christmas Carols on Friday 14th December at 6pm. The Anglican/Uniting Church Choir, Alikinetic Dancers and Stacey Benham and her son Zac will be performing on the night.
A free Sausage sizzle will be provided by the Canowindra Lions Club and a mini Christmas Market will be held as well. With Moyne’s famous Lamingtons and Tomato Relish for sale, as well as mini plum puddings, handmade Christmas crafts and gifts and a few other goodies. The residents have been busy making the craft items and having a wonderful time doing so. It’s a perfect opportunity to purchase some last minute Christmas gifts.
The Moyne Christmas Carols have been a tradition for many decades, with the Carols originally being held on the front lawn of the Hostel Section of Moyne on a Sunday evening. In recent years it was moved to the main car park, as it was safer for residents and there was more room for everyone to find a comfortable place to sit and enjoy the event.
This year the Carols have been moved to the Friday night which is a wonderful way to start the weekend. So bring along a chair or a rug and settle in for a wonderful evening of Christmas Cheer.
Santa will also be paying a visit on the night.
The Management team and the Residents and Staff of Moyne Aged Care Plus wish you all a blessed and peaceful Christmas.
