Dear Editor,
After 11 amazing years, John Watson and family have decided to pass on the ownership of the The Royal Hotel.
We extend our deepest gratitude to our supportive family, friends and Canowindra community, including the various sporting clubs, swimming club, junior and senior league teams, Canowindra pythons, we wouldn’t be here without you all.
Through the high the lows, from the loss of our rock, Stephanie, to lockdowns and floods, our loyal staff and family have been our main support and source of joy. To you, we say thank you.
A special mention to Bill and Bernadette Watson as well as Kathy Davis, and Peter Newton who have have been with us throughout the whole journey. Also a very special mention to our friend and neighbour, Tommy Jeffs for your unwavering support.
Whilst the decision to transition is bittersweet, it marks a new chapter for our family. Join us over the next three weeks as we celebrate and cherish the memories, before we join you on the other side of the bar.
