Easter is celebrated throughout the world in so many different ways and there is no right or wrong way to do it.
For Aussies it is often the first school holiday break since Christmas so families take the opportunity to get away. Whether the holiday period is spent going to church, searching for Easter Eggs, spending time with family or lamb marking for some families on the land. Many hands make light work dads always seem to say.
In Sweden their Easter is much like Halloween as they dress up as Easter witches, in Corfu Greece they have a tradition of ‘Pot Throwing’ where they take pots and pans and throw them out their windows smashing them on the streets. In Florence, Italy a wagon is dragged through the streets by a white oxen until it reaches the Cathedral. Bulgaria have egg fights and in Germany they display their Easter eggs on trees.
