Seeker Markets is back at Perennialle Plants in Canowindra on Sunday, 23 August, for its third event, and organisers are bracing for the biggest crowd yet after 400 shoppers came through the doors last time round.
Founded by sisters Morgan and Courtney, Seeker Markets set out to bring the energy of city fashion markets to the Central West. Two events in, it has become one of the region’s most anticipated Sunday outings, pulling in shoppers from well beyond Canowindra chasing vintage finds, one-off pieces and labels they won’t see on anyone else in the room.
“We set out to bring the vibe of our favourite Sydney and Melbourne markets to the Central West, and we’re incredibly proud that we’ve had so much positive feedback from stallholders and shoppers alike,” said co-founder Courtney.
“The stallholder waitlist says it all, our stalls booked out early again, with some of the most impressive local fashion queens fighting for a spot,” added co-founder Morgan.
For a growing number of Central West locals, Seeker Markets has become the goto spot for a wardrobe refresh before a big weekend, and a way of doing their bit for the slow fashion movement along the way.
With Perennialle Plants café keeping the coffee and food flowing, the August event promises the same mix of fashion, food and country-town charm that’s turned Seeker Markets from a first-time experiment into a fixture on the Canowindra calendar.
