Canowindra Women’s Bowls

Results of the No. 4 Pennant 1st round match played last Tuesday 25th February:

  • Parkes Railway Diggers defeated Canowindra with an aggregate of 34-30, winning both rinks so received 5 points.
  • Thanks to the Umpire Sheryn O’Malveney.

No. 3 Pennant Practice Game:

  • Margaret Gosper, Nancy Morrow, Maureen Baillie & Heather Hoad defeated Sheryn O’Malveney, Moyna Rue, Gwen Haydon & Colleen Crump 27-11.

There was one game of social triples played:

  • Bobbie Turner, Marion Wilson & Sandy McDonald defeated Jean Roth (who played lead and second) & Dianne Mooney 21-16.

The Lucky Draw was won by Linda Miller with No. 15.

The 30 club was won by Diane Slattery with No. 16.

On Tuesday 11th March:

  • The No. 3 Pennant team have a bye in the 3rd round.
  • The No. 4 Pennant team in the 5th round play Parkes at Parkes.

On Thursday 13th March:

  • The No. 3 Pennant play their 4th round against Cowra at Cowra.
  • The No. 4 Pennant team play their 6th round against Parkes Railway Diggers at Parkes.
