The Tigers started off the game really well and put pressure on Trundle and were first to score and lead 6-0 early. Trundle fought back after the Tigers gave
them too much possession from drop ball’s and piggyback up the field in penalties which allowed Trundle to score two tries and they led 10-6 at the break.
The Tigers looked a more determined side in the second half where they were varying their attack and had Trundle under pressure every time they had a ball. From the next set of play the Tigers took a good lead through Kelly and Fisher who got a good ball to Joe Besedic to take the score out wide to increase the lead to 16-10.
Next Lees put a kick through for Joe Besedic to score his second try and the Tigers were leading 20-10. The Tigers finished strong with a good game from Lochie Stevens, Ryan Wilson, Kyle and Hayden Cummings finding gaps in the Trundle defence.
Fraser Rider scored his third try and then in the closing minutes of the game Joe Besedic chipped over the top regathered and scored, Lee’s converted both tries finishing 32-10.
Now the Tigers take on Manildra at Manildra in the Grand Final this Sunday. Congratulations to Dan the coach for modelling this young side into what could be a premiership for the juniors.
