The Canowindra Tigresses had a very good win 22 to 16 over Condobolin last weekend. In the dying minutes of the game Alicia Earsman sliced through the defence to score the winning try underneath the post. This was a great effort from the Tigresses who are improving each week. Players player went to Jess Perry, 3 points to Alicia Earsman, 2 points to Monique Jenart and 1 point each to Hayley White, Erin and Jess Perry.
The first grade Canowindra side put the bad form from the last two weeks away with an impressive win over Condobolin 72 points to 14. The Tigers had more intensity and their defence was the most impressive part. Their combinations in attack when they backed up the ball to a player to convert this into tries.
Regan Hughes played in the centre scoring 4 tries and Tarfu scored 3 tries playing in the second row. These two were well supported by Andy Kelleher and Curtis Hughes with solid performances. Brydon Hughes at five eighth was the ever-reliable game organiser. Alex Rider from fullback was impressive in attack with his runs and was a handful for the Condo defence.
The Montrose House Players Player went to Regan Hughes. 3 points to Regan Hughes, 2 points to Tatafu Na’aniumotu and 1 point each to Andy Kelleher and Curtis Hughes.
