The Tigers were not in their best form in the game on the weekend. The Trundle defence was outstanding and sealed the minor premiership by defeating the Tigers 36 points to 4.
At half time Trundle led 12 points to 4 and the game was a very even competition. It wasn’t until halfway through the second half that the score blew out, with Trundle scoring three tries.
The Tigers played their hearts out with strong defence, however lack of possession contributed to tightness late in the game. Best and Fairest went to Aaron
Earsman as well as Players Player. Two points went to Kain Earsman and one point each to Dan Middleton and Dan Madden.
In League Tag the girls had a win 26 points to 6 over Trundle in a very entertaining game. Well done to the Tigeresses. Best and Fairest points 3 to Christy White, 2 points and Players Player Sam Boog and 1 point to Keira Whatman and Lisa Bourke.
The Youth League consolidated the second position on the ladder and defeated Trundle 22 to 14 in their best performance of the year. Fraser Ryder scored four tries and received Players Player and the 3 points, 2 points went to Ashley Frost and Joe Besidec and 1 point each to Angus Fisher, Bailey Selton and Spud Kelly.
