The Canowindra Balloon Glow birds eye view of the amazing crowds.
With the Canowindra International Balloon Challenge festival wrapping up on Sunday, we can reflect on what a wonderful event it was for the community of Canowindra and surrounds.
Guests were wined and dined at Tommy’s Cocktail Party, live music on the Friday night and the fabulous street parade. Special mentions to Annette Thomas, Tommy Jeffs and the rest of the Balloon committee for putting together such a fabulous event.
School children, dancers, bands, vintage cars and tractors, Canowindra SES and Rural Fire Services made their way down the main street, where a large crowd adorned either side of the street.
A crowd of more than 7000 people attended the main attraction, the Balloon Glow.
The crowd was dancing along to the performers, enjoying dance and gymnastics displays before settling in to admire the Balloons firing up for the grand finale of the Balloon Festival, the Canowindra Balloon Festival Balloon Glow.
The event would not be a success without the hard working team who works tirelessly behind the scenes. The Canowindra community appreciates the effort the team puts in every year.
The Canowindra community is looking forward to seeing what the 2024 committee will bring to the festival next year.
