Round 1 – 2nd November
The women took to the field with some ladies playing their first game of rugby. We lost against Orange Emus by a very close game, with Emus getting 3 tries. In the second game we were to verse Cowra, they forfeited against Canowindra so we came away with a win. Thanks to Orange City for giving us a run before the storm hit.
Round 2 – 9th November
Canowindra had a 4 try to 1 win over Orange City with some new players joining our team. Everyone played exceptionally well. The second game saw us loose to Bathurst Bulldogs by 5 tries, but we all still managed to have a great game with good passes.
Round 3 – 16th November
Will be held at the Tom Clyburn Oval, Canowindra this Friday night. First game will kick off at 6:00pm. Canowindra is to play Cowra Eagles and Orange Emus. Come along and show your support for your local ladies and cheer them on. Training is held every Tuesday night at 6pm for any new interested players.
