The pythons went up against the Redbacks who were in second place in a difficult season finale, but they persevered despite going down tries after tries.

Tobias Fren, in halfback, scored a try following numerous pick-and-drives up the field. For the final game of the year, the squad played with spirit and never gave up, winning 76-5.

• 3 points and players player went to Tim Somers
• 2 points went to Nick Traves
• 1 point went to Dylan Slattery

The Pythons will be playing their last game of the 2023 season this Saturday, 5th August at Tom Clyburn Oval. Not only will the Seniors and Juniors play on Saturday but the little Wallas will be hosting their Gala day at the Tom Clyburn Oval on Sunday.

On the Saturday there will be a BBQ available and the bar from 2pm onwards. Following the game, live music will be held at the clubhouse. Everyone is welcome to come along and upport the Pythons in their last game of the 2023 season.

Congratulations to everyone who played for the Pythons in the 2023 season; the team should be extremely proud of themselves for both wins and losses, but most importantly for showing up each week for one another!
