Canowindra Music & Events Co. is excited to be presenting a family friendly live music evening with free entry thanks to the Rural Resilience Program and proudly supported by the NSW Government’s Drought Resilience Fund.
This event is about getting the community together and enjoying some time out. With live music from Bogans Heroes, locals Palumbo & Starr plus vinyl DJ sets from 100 Mile Groove the evening is set to be a blast!
Food will be on sale from local charity organisations and the bar open thanks to the Canowindra Pythons Rugby Club. There will be no BYO as this is a licensed event.
“This event is about getting everyone together for a bit of fun, after drought and then 2020 everyone needs that! It’s also an opportunity for our local charities, sporting clubs and other community based organisations to do a bit of fundraising on the night with many having missed opportunities during COVID-19 in 2020. Thanks to the Rural Resilience Program for their support and giving our community an opportunity to come together,” said event organiser Eleena Markcrow.
Canowindra Sounds at Sunset will be held on Saturday, 6 February from 5pm at the grounds of the Canowindra Pythons Rugby Clubhouse, at the corner of Rodd and Ross Streets, Canowindra. It is set to be a hot summer’s night, so be sure to come prepared. Bring your camp chairs, picnic blankets and settle in for the Sounds at Sunset.
