On Friday 5th September the Sponsors Day was held. Firstly, we would like to thank our sign sponsors for their continued support. Mystery winners for the day was the Goonigal Ewes team consisting of Kylie Lawrence, Amara Flannery & Caroline Austin with 92 off the stick. Nett winners were Grant, Mosso & Ecco with 57.34. Runners up were Clunesy, Donnelly & Sheeny. Longest drive for the men was Grant Williams and for the women was Kylie Lawrence. Nearest the pin for the men was Ned Grant and for the women was Caroline Austin. Thanks to Karen, Burkey & Cathy for cooking the food and Charlie for driving the grog cart.
On Sunday 7th September the Steve Webb Memorial 4 person ambrose was held. Winners of the day was Kylie & Charlie Lawrence, Matt & Jake Devlin. Runners up were Doug, Stumpy, Adam & Corey. Thanks to the Webb family for sponsoring the day. Thanks Cathy & Charlie for cooking the BBQ.
On Sunday 14th September the Canowindra Open was held. Thanks to our major sponsor David Rice Transport and our minor sponsors Rues Auto, Goonigal Poll Dorsets, Ray Clements Constructions & Lawrence’s IGA. Thanks to Kylie, Karen & Burkey for cooking the BBQ.
A Grade Scratch winner was Doug Flannery
A Grade Scratch runner up was Jason Jeffress
A Grade Nett winner was Jake Devlin
A Grade Nett runner up was John Boserio.
B Grade Scratch winner was Roger Mason
B Grade Scratch runner up was Troy McClintock
B Grade Nett winner was Craig Mason
B Grade Nett runner up was Seymour Maere
Nearest the pin for A Grade on the 4th was Ben Pearson and the 6th was Doug Flannery
Nearest the pin for B Grade on the 4th was Paul Jeffress and the 6th was Paul Mckenzie.
Longest Drive for A Grade was Jason Jeffress
Longest Drive for B Grade was Barry Rue
On Sunday 21st September the event was a medal stroke. Winner on the day was Des McDonald with 87 off the stick nett 68. Runner up was Bill Flannery with 93 off the stick nett 70. The day was sponsored by Charlie & Kylie Lawrence. Thanks to Pam Matthews for cooking the BBQ. Next week is a 2 person ambrose medley sponsored by Matt & Kirsten Devlin.
