Dr. Kaipu would like to thank everybody for making himself and Dr. Padma feel welcome to Canowindra and said they are certainly look forward to becoming involved in the community in 2016.

The owner of the practice Dr.Kaipu has a long history of being involved in the medical profession, having already established a practice in Molong before making the decision to take over Dr. Kumar’s surgery. Trained in Hyderabad India, and then working in Emergency Services in the UK, prior to moving to Westmead Hospital when he continued his work in Emergency Services, he then became part of a larger practice in Dubbo, finally establishing his own practice in Molong. He has a Diploma in skin cancer surgery and in dermatology. He sees skin cancers as one of the biggest causes of death in Australia, and one cancer which needs to be caught early to ensure recovery.

In the practice in Canowindra Dr. Kaipu says “We would like to provide a range of services including areas of womens health, men’s health, skin cancer treatment, dermatology, cosmetic medicine, including spider veins, and of course now with the services of Laverty located onsite, this makes us a local practice offering a range of services.

Dr. Padma specialises in children and women’s health, Dr. Craddock specialises in skin cancer, and Dr. Kharshini, who works part-time is in general practice.” One of the biggest benefits of attending the practice is that same day appointments are available, which means that there is a no wait period which benefits the whole community.
