Stage three travelled to Rodwell Oval last week to take on Grenfell. Grenfell won the toss and elected to bat. Canowindra’s bowling and fielding was outstanding despite such a long mid-season break, bowling Grenfell all out for 126 runs.
Top bowlers were Ethan, Colby and Jonty, all with two wickets. Archie and Mitch got one wicket each. Top scores with the bat this week were Mitch 22 not out, Ethan 15 and Beau 14. The boys, although coming up short by 23 runs, should be very proud of their efforts last week, particularly for batting out the full 30 overs. The man of the match was Mitch Stephens.
