7 October, 2026 By Canowindra Phoenix Editor

The Well Canowindra offers Experienced, caring allied health practitioners — there to support you towards natural balance. Learn more at www.thewellcanowindra.com

Canowindra is fast becoming the place to get well in the Central West. With the recent sale of the old medical centre located in The Cobley building at 106 Gaskill Street, the Canowindra CBD is a buzz with talented allied and complementary health services.

Local Acupuncture Practitioner Danielle Kinsela is celebrating her 10th year of practice back in the Canowindra area by opening her own offering ‘The Well Canowindra Health Space’ in the old pathology clinic off Blatchford street near the bakery.

Joining her there, Remedial Massage therapy legend Barry Traves and Physiotherapist Clare Landy bringing her exceptional skills in Lymphoedema therapy, oncology and relaxation massage to the team.

In the front of 106 Gaskill St work is well underway on ‘The Bendy Street Yoga Space’ which will be up and running from mid October. Alison Bennett of Alive Health Orange is bringing Chiropractic care back to town in collaboration with ‘The Well’ in the yoga spaces clinical room which hopes to host other visiting allied health care providers.

Back on the other end of Gaskill St Frankly Organic F.O.O.D’s pop up has been a resounding success serving up and selling out delicious and nutritious organic lunches and slow fast food takeaway meals. If you haven’t yet had a chance to try it… you should!

We really are lucky to have as many exceptional massage and physical therapists in town such as those at The Well, Robyn Welsh, Andrew Watson and those at Canowindra Health Service Physio department.

Combined, these services are making Canowindra a hub for Preventative and Proactive good health in the Central West.
