Snow White and the Pirate Adventure will be on next week held on the Wednesday 16th and Thursday 17th of November at the Canowindra High School Hall, commencing at 7pm.
Lyndall Ryan, teacher and one of the production coordinators said, “The students are ready but they still have lots of rehearsals on for the next week.” There are over 40 students involved in the production this year which is mainly drama driven with a bit of dance. The students have been working hard for 10 weeks now to put it all together.
A sneak peak into the night’s events includes:
Snow White and her mother doing a pantomime and then the Pirates kidnap her. They then go on an adventure to find Snow White, to get her back to her mother, with the help of the hairy fairies.
The play was written by Sally Redman in 2011 and was previously performed by the Cowra Youth Drama group. Lyndall Ryan says, “I think it will be a really fun evening with lots of the kids coming in and getting involved as it’s student driven.”
