Canowindra Farms was established in early 2019, when Stuart and Amie Dolden, along with their 3 young girls moved to Canowindra to manage the family farms, grain storage and transport business. With the never ending drought, Stuart and Amie saw a great opportunity to diversify the family business to include pasture raised chickens. Canowindra Farms purchase chickens at 1 day old, and raise them up until the chickens are ready to be processed at around 8 weeks. The Doldens pride themselves on providing the chickens with the highest quality of care, feed and enough open space so that the chickens can roam freely, from dawn to dusk. Canowindra Farms have various wholesale customers across Sydney as well as a high traffic stall at the Capital Region Farmers Market in Canberra.
With other parts of their business expanding, including their ECS grain storage facility at Billimari, Stuart and Amie have made the decision to seek expressions of interest in purchasing Canowindra Farms.
