Get ready to kick off the festive season in style, as the highly anticipated Canowindra Christmas Street Party returns to town on Saturday, 21 November. Proudly brought to the community by the Canowindra Progress Association and the Canowindra Services Club, with support from Cabonne Council, this beloved annual celebration promises a wonderful evening filled with holiday cheer for residents and visitors alike.
Gaskill Street will transform into a vibrant, festive hub featuring market stalls, food trucks, and live music. Tables and chairs will be set up right down the middle of the street, creating an inviting space for families and friends to gather, share a meal, and enjoy the lively atmosphere together.
Organisers are officially calling on market stallholders offering food, crafts, and all things Christmas to join the celebration. Applications are now open online via www.123tix.com.au.
Local businesses along Gaskill Street are also encouraged to take part by trading outside their shopfronts right on the footpath, helping to showcase the best of what Canowindra has to offer.
Adding to the excitement, the Canowindra Progress Association is currently organising a giant Christmas raffle packed with amazing prizes donated by generous local businesses. Raffle tickets will be available for purchase across town at the Canowindra Services Club, the Canowindra Phoenix Office, and outside Lawrence’s IGA.
For those attending and participating, Gaskill Street will close to all traffic at 3pm on Saturday, 21 November to allow stallholders to arrive and set up their displays safely. The Street Party will officially commence at 5pm, offering a fantastic opportunity for the entire community to come together, support local traders, and celebrate the spirit of the season.
