MEN’S BOWLS
This Friday night May 25 the novelty event will be held depending on numbers. Be sure to be at the club by 6.00pm if you wish to participate in this event worth a jackpot of $665.

Saturday May 26 – Major Singles Semi Final – T Tuimauga v I Nelder and Marker S Kirkman. Major Pairs – N Delaney and P Markcrow v C and B Webb.

Sunday May 27 – Minor Pairs – G Fairley and S Kirkman v C Webb and B McClintock. Nominations are now called for the zone open singles, senior singles and presidents singles. Nominations will close on Friday June 15 with events to be played on June 30 and July 1. A section of the presidents singles will be hosted by our club.

Wednesday badge draw will be $400 and Friday badge draw will be $1,900. Bingo this Thursday 11am.

WOMEN’S BOWLS
Social bowls was played on Tuesday, 15th May, with 11 bowlers present. There were two games of triples. Karen Cox, Nancy Morrow and Joice McNaught defeated Jenny Daly, Moyna Rue and Sandy McDonald 17-16. Marion Wilson and Jenny Middleton defeated Leanne Stevenson, Jeanette Wheeldon and Christine Pickard 30-4.

There were three games of social triples and one pairs played on Tuesday, 22nd May. Shirley Robson, Liz Thornberry and Jo Davies defeated Joyce Middleton, Nancy Morrow and Pamela Shepherd 19-11. Ellen Petty, Jenny Middleton and Christine Pickard defeated Bobbie Turner, Marion Wilson and Colleen Crump 23-15. Leanne Stevenson, Radka Tatterson and Gwen Haydon defeated Leanne Stevenson, Daph Bryant and Sandy McDonald 22-14.

We wish our two teams competing in the District Triples being held at Parkes Railway on 29th and 30th May good bowling and some luck. They are Nancy Morrow, Deanna Noble and Jo Davies and Libby Balcombe, Gwen Haydon and Colleen Crump.

The April Points Score was won by Ellen Petty. Our birthday lunch will be held at The Green Shed on 12th June at 1 pm.
