MEN’S BOWLS
Last Saturday a semi-final of the Major Fours was played with Ron Symons, Larry Nunn, Nick Delaney and Garry Fairley against Steve Kirkman, Brian McClintock, Cyril and Bruce Webb. After 14 ends Garry’s team led the game with the scores being 16-15. Then Bruce’s team were able to win four of the
last seven ends to win the game 25-21.

Saturday June 1 – Minor Singles – P Markcrow v T Mooney and Marker I Nelder. O’Brien Cup – M Wright and N Knight v W Fisher and P Taylor. Consistency Singles – N Delaney v T Tuimauga and Marker D Beath.

This Sunday June 2 our club presents Sunday Sessions at the Bowlo supporting regional talent performed by Justin Landers Music.

Wednesday badge draw will be $700. Friday badge draw will be $400. Sunday badge draw will be $650. Bingo this Thursday 11am.

WOMEN’S BOWLS
Two matches were played in the Fours Championship on Tuesday, 28th May. Julie Wythes, Radka Tatterson, Sheryn O’Malveney and Gwen Haydon defeated Linda Miller, Daph Bryant, Sandy McDonald and Christine Pickard 31-12. Marion Wilson, Leanne Stevenson, Moyna Rue and Libby Balcombe defeated Shirley Robson, Lorne Burgess, Jeanette Wheeldon and Diane Slattery 20-11.

There were two social games played. Liz Thornberry and Nancy Morrow defeated Jill Messenger and Jo Davies 24-5. Colleen Crump, Joice McNaught and Betty Jenkins defeated Joyce Middleton, Jenny Middleton and Dianne Mooney 22-13.

The Lucky Draw was won by Daph Bryant with No. 8.

24 of our members enjoyed a very tasty birthday lunch at The Canowindra Hotel after bowls on Tuesday 28th May.
