WOMEN’S BOWLS
Firstly I must correct the errors I made in the Phoenix last week regarding the winners of the Triples Carnival played on 7th and 8th July, it should have read 1st The Canowin-dra team of Jill Messenger, Colleen Crump and Leisa Burton (Forbes). 2nd The West Dubbo team of Maureen Coffey, Skip Sue Clark and Liz Thornberry (Canowindra) who filled in for this team. Equal 3rd The Canowindra team of Joyce Middleton, Jenny Middleton and Dianne Mooney and the Tumut team of Robyn, Sue Frankowitz and Jeanette Wheeldon (Canowindra). My sincere apologies to the teams concerned.

Results of the Semi-Finals played in the Club Fours on Tuesday, 17th July. Nancy Morrow, Deanna Noble, Colleen Crump and Jo Davies defeated Leanne
Stevenson, Radka Tatterson, Diane Slattery and Libby Balcombe 31-11. Linda Miller, Daph Bryant, Christine Pickard and Gwen Haydon defeated Jenny Middleton, Moyna Rue, Betty Jenkins and Dianne Mooney 32-8.

There were two games of social bowls played. Penny Nash, Karen Cox and Ellen Petty defeated Liz Thornberry and Jill Messenger 17-15. Shirley Robson, Jeanette Wheeldon and Marion Wilson defeated Bobbie Turner, Joyce Middleton and Joice McNaught 26-11.

Nancy Morrow and Deanna Noble will be playing the playoffs of the Senior Pairs at Gulgong on 24th-25th July.
