MEN’S BOWLS
Saturday April 2nd events include Major pairs- M Wright and I Nelder vs M Lawrence and A Robson. Minor singles final- K Fisher vs P Kennedy, Marker J Preston. Sunday April 3 events include a third round of pennants. No 4’s play Forbes at Forbes. Teams are R Traves, D Beath, P
Kennedy and P Taylor. B Webb, K Smith, C Webb and G Wilson. M Lawrence, V Mirto, M Wright and T Mooney. No 7’s play Cowra at home. Teams are M McMullen, K Walker, M Cramp and R Robson. I Nelder, K Perry, D Byrne and B Rose. R Bates, N Delaney, B McClintock and C Balcombe.

Nominations are now called for Consistency Singles and O’Brien Cup. Barefoot bowls will continue on Friday April 1st with names in by 6pm for 6.30pm start. The Wednesday badge draw is $300 and the Friday badge draw $1,000 with second optional draw of $800. Monster raffle draw on Friday April 8th and bingo is this Thursday at 11am.

WOMEN’S BOWLS
Result of one match played on Tuesday 22nd March. Semi Final- Pairs Championship: Margaret Gosper and Colleen Crump defeated Libby Balcombe and Dianne Mooney. There were three games of Social Triples played. Gwen Haydon, Ellen Petty and Marion Wilson defeated Jeanette Wheeldon, Shirley Robson and Sandy Mcdonald. Rose Veal, Diane Slattery and Daph Bryant defeated Linda Miller, Bobbie Turner and Christine Pickard. Joyce Middleton, Jill Messenger and Betty Jenkins defeated Pauline Carroll, Joice McNaught and Moyna Rue.

The  Lucky Draw was won by Jeanette Wheeldon with No. 16. Results of two matches played on Tuesday 29th March. Final- Pairs Championship Shirley Robson (sub. for Marion Wilson) and Heather Hoad defeated Margaret Gosper and Colleen Crump 18-16. Congratulations to the winning team. There were three social games played 2 pairs and 1 triples.

Joice McNaught & Rose Veal defeated Jeanette Wheeldon & Sandy McDonald 16-12. Daph Bryant & Ellen Petty has a draw against Radka Tatterson & Moyna Rue 15 all. Diane Slattery, Libby Balcombe & Dianne Mooney defeated Pauline Carroll, Jill Messenger & Deanna Noble.

The Lucky Draw was won by Rose Veal with No. 19. The February Points Score was won by Dianne Mooney.
