Lodge Canowindra are calling for expressions of interest from all local amateur artists to particiate in the “Masonic Muster”.
This fantastic new event will allow local artisans and creatives the opportunity to showcase their wares, be it paintings, drawings or craft, as well as demonstrate their craft of music, singing, poetry or dance.
Lodge Canowindra will donate a “booking fee” to all artists attending. Performing artists will have an opportunity to put out a busking hat to collect some cash and display artists will be able to sell their work at the Muster to also generate some revenue
The community are invited to attend the Masonic Muster, with tickets priced at just $15 which includes snacks, a two course meal and non alcoholic refreshments. (BYOG).
“We thought a night’s entertainment and meal for $15 per person was very reasonable in today’s financial climate, and will assist us in covering food costs,” said Paul Cooper.
Lodge Canowindra is intending to hold the inaugural “Masonic Muster”, one Saturday night in May, to be confirmed pending interest. The Muster, will initially be conducted at the CWA Hall, with the option to move to a larger venue if interest grows throughout the year.
Lodge Canowindra aim to conduct a Masonic Muster quarterly throughout the year, offering support to various community groups. In May they want to give back to the community and support local amateur artists.
If you would like to be involved in the Masonic Muster or would like further information, please contact the Lodge Secretary Paul Cooper at secretary.lodge478@gmail.com or text 0400 796 591.
