The Canowindra Services Club was recently successful in receiving a Cadia Community Partnership Program grant to update the Community Hall.
Cadia donated the money towards lighting and technology for the Community Hall as part of its Community Partnership Program. Two staff members from Cadia Valley Operations vistied the Club last Friday to see how the funding was spent and were very impressed with the new facilities.
The Community Hall now has brand new dimmable LED lights, two new LED Televisions, a new projector and new exit signs.
“Cadia’s Community Partnership Program aims to support and enhance community groups and organisations in the Blayney, Cabonne and Orange local government areas,” said Cadia General Manager, Aaron Brannigan.
“Our donation towards upgrading the lighting and technology at the Canowindra Community Hall will enhance this important facility for future community meetings and events,” concluded Mr Brannigan.
“This new technology is great for the community and it means we can offer high tech facilities for business meetings to be held at the Club,” said Julie Fliedner, Club Administrative Manager.
