The Cabonne Seniors Expo will be held at the Cabonne Community Centre, Molong on Wednesday 25 March.
Older residents across the Cabonne region will have a valuable opportunity to learn more about the services available to support them at the upcoming Cabonne Seniors Expo, proudly hosted by Cabonne Council.
The event is designed to help seniors make the most of their My Aged Care funding and continue enjoying independent, fulfilling lives.
The expo will bring together 20 exhibitors offering aged care services across the Cabonne area, giving attendees the chance to meet local providers, ask questions and explore the wide range of support available. From in‑home assistance and health services to community programs and lifestyle support, the event aims to simplify the often‑complex aged care system.
Throughout the day, five local service providers will also deliver presentations, offering practical advice on navigating My Aged Care, accessing available services, and maximising funding packages.
Mayor of Cabonne, Kevin Beatty, said the event will provide an important opportunity for seniors and their families to connect with local services and gain valuable information.
“Events like the Cabonne Seniors Expo play an important role in helping our older residents understand what support is available and how they can access it,” Mayor Beatty said.
“It brings together a range of local providers in one place, making it easier for seniors and their families to ask questions, learn about their options and feel confident about the services that can help them stay independent and enjoy life in our communities.”
The event will also offer a welcoming social atmosphere, with morning tea and lunch provided, giving community members the chance to connect while learning more about the support available.
The Cabonne Seniors Expo is open to older residents, carers and family members who want to better understand the aged care services available locally and gain practical advice on maintaining independence and quality of life.
The 2026 Cabonne Seniors Expo will be held on Wednesday, 25 March at the Cabonne Community Centre, Molong. Doors open at 10am.
