Cabonne Council Mayor Kevin Beatty and General Manager Brad Byrnes met with the new Minister for Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Local Government, the Hon. Catherine King MP this week in Canberra.
Unfortunately, the Minister had to join the meeting virtually due to having COVID-19.
The Mayor discussed issues regarding mobile connectivity in the region, roads funding, upgrades for Cabonne swimming pools, and improvements to community infrastructure.
As a regional local, the Minister was very receptive to the concerns of Cabonne, and Council looks forward to a constructive and positive working relationship with the Government.
