Children enjoying just some of the entertainment that was on offer at the Cudal Twilight Market held on Saturday, 26th November.
Cabonne Community Spirit continues to shine despite recent flood events. Impacted towns such as Molong, Canowindra, Manildra and Cudal and devastated Eugowra continue to recover through Christmas events.
As part of the Reconnecting Regional NSW – Community Events Program there is a range of community events coming up before Christmas throughout Cabonne both for the communities and to support the flood recovery.
On Saturday, 26th November 2022, Council, and the Cudal Christmas Markets Committee worked together to deliver the Cudal Twilight Christmas Markets. The the afternoon featured market stalls, food vendors, drinks, free family entertainment, live music, kids’ activities and a special visit from Santa and Mrs Claus.
It’s estimated that around 1,800 people attended the event throughout the evening which ran from 4-11pm.
Cabonne Mayor, Kevin Beatty said “The program was originally designed to promote the social and economic recovery of regional communities, by renewing social connections and providing a revenue-boost to local businesses. Given the destruction across the region, these community events are more important than ever to assist in the rebuilding, recovery, and support of our flood affected communities.”

Yeoval Community Christmas Dinner Saturday, 17 December, 6:30- 10pm
Manildra Christmas Party Wednesday, 21 December from 6pm.
