Business Tips… Make Love your Goal

28 February, 2014 By Canowindra Phoenix Editor

Nurturing relationships with your customers is a crucial part of growing a successful business. In today’s era of social media, customer data and automation, caring for your customers has never been more important.

At any moment, an unhappy customer can share their opinion with the masses through social media and the web that will negatively affect your business. That’s why it’s more important than ever to create an excellent experience for your customers to help develop the relationship, in other words, to make
them love you!!

Walt Disney said it best, “Do what you do so well that they will want to see it again and bring their friends.” Creating love between your business and your customers through word of mouth is absolutely priceless.

Just like the Dyson article last week.

Here are 4 ways to help make your customers fall in love with your business.

  1. Listen and Respect – Provide your customers with an opportunity to provide you feedback. Respect and value what they have to say. Your customers have the answers to what is often keeping you awake at night.
  2. Support Them – Do everything in your power to provide excellent service on an ongoing basis. Review your product and service range to see whether you can offer a guarantee or warranty. This also aids with sales conversion.
  3. Establish Trust – Trust is built on “honesty” and “consistency”. Keep it real and always follow through on your promises, but don’t over promise! It’s not about a one-off experience because you were feeling generous that day. It is every customer, every time.
  4. Say Thank You – A simple act of gratitude for a customer’s business is an undeniable way to further enchant them for the long term.
