One hundred of Australia’s finest cooks, chefs, bakers and local heroes were asked to share their favourite recipes they make for the people they love. It includes such famous chefs as Kylie Kwong, Maggie Beer, Neil Perry, Matt Moran. The most exciting part is the inclusion of four local food celebrities
– MasterChef and CWA star Cudal’s Merle Parrish, Simonn Hawke & Leah Morphett from the superb one-hat restaurant Lolli Redini, chef extraordinaire Michael Manners and from Mudgee Kim Currie who has the one-hat restaurant The Zin House.
All the recipes are family friendly – for example Merle’s crunchy Anzac Biscuits, Kim’s Contents of Fridge & Garden Pasta or something a bit harder is Simonn’s Buttermilk & Ricotta Pancakes. As Merle says ‘half the fun of life is to share recipes with someone else’.
Each recipe is accompanied by stunning original photography shot entirely on location that captures the essence and nature of this beautiful country of ours.
