Canowindra Public School year 4 students at the three sisters.
Canowindra Public School Year 4 students had a great time on the recent Blue Mountains excursion. They visited the Court House, gaol and church at Little Hartley, where the students dressed up and had a mock trial. They also visited the Cultural Centre at Katoomba and the fire museum in Penrith. The next day began with a visit to Echo Point to see the Three Sisters, then to scenic world where students went on the skyway, cable car and the scenic railway. The day concluded with a tour by Park Ranger Cindy, who spoke about local bush tucker and medicines and showed the students some traditional Aboriginal tools.
