On Thursday, 24th November, Canowindra Public School held their biennial school concert. It was decided, after the devastating floods in Eugowra, that it would be a ‘Flood Relief Concert’, and all funds raised would be donated to this cause. An amazing $690 was donated by families, teachers and community members! $345 went to the Canowindra Challenge Committee and $345 to the Eugowra Flood Appeal. There were smiles all around and the students did a fabulous job dancing to a range of songs from the 1920s to today.

Year 6 stole the show with a footloose inspired dance, finishing off the concert with a bang!
Year 3 jived away on the stage to “A little party never killed nobody” in amazing costumes.
