The Canowindra community recently embarked on the development of a village Master Plan to assist with Cabonne Councils need for quality input from residents of all its villages in the creation of their Shire Strategic Plan. The Canowindra Master Plan will allow council to develop projects in line with Canowindra’s resident’s needs.
For this plan to work for Canowindra, the Canowindra Business Chamber and Progress Association need your involvement and input.
To be a part of Canowindra’s Community Master Plan, head along to the Community Consultation to be held next Wednesday 17th June hosted by Urban Design experts sala4D.
Urban Design is about creating liveable communities. At the sala4D “conversations with the community” local residents can come and explain about what kind of place they want Canowindra to be.
Some questions that may be asked to local residents by the consultants include:
• Do you want a fit and healthy community?
• Do you love Canowindra as it is?
• Do you feel connected in a community that spends time together hosting events?
• Do you care about the environment?
• Do you want businesses to thrive?
The consultants job is to then translate your aspirations into realities that can be planned for by Cabonne Council.
The Community Consultation will take place on Wednesday 17th June at The Old Vic Inn in Gaskill St from 2pm – 3pm or 6pm – 8pm. To register your interest and time slot please phone 0438 135 092.
