The 2022 Cabonne Community Glow is the signature event of the Canowindra International Balloon Challenge and will be held on Saturday 9th April 2022 at the Canowindra Sports Oval.
The Cabonne Community Glow will be an amazing family friendly spectacle and should not be missed.
This year’s event will be headlined by 15 hot air balloons who will inflate just after sunset and then light up like giant 20m high lightbulbs and synchronise their lights to a mix of the best music. It is a spectacle you will never forget.
It’s not all about the balloons though. There will also be a huge range of local food and wine offerings tor you at the 2022 Cabonne Community Night Markets that will tempt you to eat and drink more than you should. Bring a blanket, pick a spot on the green grass and enjoy the afternoon.
The entertainment line-up is great too with Cranbury Jam, Neil Gill and James Johnston ready to wow the crowds.

The Canowindra International Balloon Challenge competition will take place from 2nd to 10th April with balloons launching each morning and afternoon dependant on weather. The Challenge will conclude on Sunday 10th April with the Small Acres Key Grab. The Key Grab is probably the most spectacular event tor the public to see. Balloons launch from a site of their choosing, with the aim to fly in to the Sports Oval and try and pluck a large key from the top of a flagpole.
