The Canowindra International Balloon Challenge has received a big accolade, being awarded the bronze medal at the NSW Regional Tourism Awards last Saturday night. They won bronze in the category of ‘Festivals and Events’, and were only beaten by the typically large events of the Parkes Elvis Festival, and the Tamworth Country Music Festival.
