On Monday, 21 September Geoff and Alison Maynard and family from 5 Star Senepol at Jambin, Qld set a new Australian record selling a Senepol bull for $30,000 at the annual sale at Gracemere Saleyards in Queensland.
Lot 3 5 STAR 190609 was knocked down for a record $30,000 to CAP Genomics from Brisbane.
5 Star Senepol enjoyed a 100% clearance rate with all 66 lots selling and a new all-time high average of $11,273 on sale day.
Clayton and Sarah Maynard from Southern Star Rural, Canowindra sold 11 bulls through the sale averaging $8,300 with two tops of $11,000 for a Senepol and a Senegus (Senepol/Angus) Bull.
