The Australian National Field Days (ANFD) is scheduled to be held on the 22nd, 23rd and 24th October 2020.
The Australian National Field Days Committee are constantly monitoring the advice of health and government departments in relation to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. As the situation is changing rapidly, the team are carefully monitoring the impact on the event and will keep you up to date.
“At this stage we are planning to run the Australian National Field Days event as we are still 5 months out,” said Sam Connell, ANFD Chairman.
“Thank you to those 150+ exhibitors who have already booked for 2020. We are taking bookings and deposits only at this stage and are still planning all other aspects of the event. All other processes involved with applications will commence once we have confirmed we are able to proceed,” said Mr Connell.
“The Australian National Field Days plays a crucial role in bringing together the rural community and injects millions into the local communities,” said Jayne West, Manager of the Field Days.
“The agricultural sector has a renewed confidence after three years of drought and farmers who haven’t produced a crop for many seasons are expecting a good harvest as well as having pastures and stock thriving,” continued Mrs West.
“We are receiving daily calls from exhibitors both returning and new who are expressing interest in attending due to so many other events being cancelled. Many are looking forward to re-connecting with clients and many have items of product that they need to move,” continued Mrs West.
This decision is under constant review and any change will be heavily promoted as soon as a decision has been made.
