At 90 Bobbie is Still Fighting Fit!

Bobbie Turner celebrated her 90th birthday with her friends last week at Canowindra Community Health with the ‘Move it or Lose it’ group. Mrs Turner said she has been attending the group for over five years and before that she attended an exercise group in
the physiotherapy section of the hospital. After moving to Canowindra twelve years ago with her husband, Bobbie is pretty much a local having previously lived in Cudal.

Exercise is not the only thing that keeps Bobbie healthy. She is a keen lawn bowls player and is always on the front foot to volunteer to work in the kitchen. She also attends church regularly, is a more than willing helper to her friends and has a delightful sense of humour. A mother of four, Bobbie is also a grandmother to eight and great grandmother to fourteen. Bobbie said on the day;

“I have always believed in exercise to keep you healthy so remember if you don’t move it you will lose it!” Happy 90th birthday Bobbie, you are an inspiration to all of us.
